Apartment at the heart of Switzerland, Bernese Oberland: Hasliberg Goldern
The house
The apartement for up to four persons is at ground floor of the Chalet Varga at Hasliberg Goldern, Bernese Oberland. It is available all seasons for at least one week rentals. The apartment at the first floor of the house is in use by my family and myself.

The amenities
The equipment of this two room apartment in a typical Chalet of the Oberland is convenient and functional.
The living space is 52m², plus a vestibule. It is practically equipped for up to four persons, including children. Toys and games are
available.
The living room is about 25m², with satellite-TV, radio and CD player. Free access to WIFI is available.
The kitchen is equipped with an electric cooking stove, oven and a refrigerator with a small freezing compartment. Coffee makers by filter and capsules (Nespresso system), microwave as well as equipment for fondue and raclette are at hand.
The bedroom has two standard beds and one large bed of 160cm (Kingsize).
The bathroom contains a shower, WC and washbasin.
The entrance to the apartment is through an unhetaed, closed vestibule. The vestibule is lockable and well suited as a warderobe, e.g. for sports equipment.
The terrace by the house and garden furniture may be used in summertime.
The streetside parking lot is included for the renter of the apartment. It may
temporarily be blocked, however, after heavy snowfall.

If you arrive by public transport means:
Travel to Goldern is easy. Take the train 'Zentralbahn' between Interlaken and Lucerne and leave it at the Brünig Hasliberg station. From there, the
Bus towards Hasliberg Reuti will take you in about 20 minutes to the stop 'Urseni' or 'Goldern Post'. The former is about 150 meters uproad, the latter 150 meters downroad of Chalet Varga. Look
at www.sbb.ch for actual timetables.
If you drive yourself:
From Lucerne or Interlaken drive towards Brünig Pass. At the very top of the Pass, divert towards Hasliberg. Drive about 6 Km to find the Chalet Varga shortly after passing the Hasliberg Congress building, the parking on your right side.

The apartment is let at all seasons of the year. A minimum lease of seven days (one week) is required, preferrably saturday to saturday.
Costs
The weekly rent is CHF 630.-, excluding the communal visitor's tax.
Electricity, water/waste water disposal as well as the use of linen are included in the rent.
Additional costs
The final cleaning after rental will be charged at CHF 90.-
The communal visitors tax is CHF 3.- for adults and CHF 1.50 for children up to 16 years old.

Shopping is possible in the neighbouring villages, at 2 - 5 km. The nearest small town with shopping centre is Meiringen. There are also other facilities, e.g. indoor swimming pool or climbing wall.

Restaurants are in each of the Hasliberg villages. At non touristic times, some of them are not continuously open.
- The apartement is not easily accessible by wheel chair.

Except as by special agreement, pets are not allowed in the apartment.

The apartment is a no smoking place.

Chalet Varga is a wooden house. Adequate fire extinguishing equipment is present.

The central heating provides also heated water supply for both apartments.

There is no safe in the apartment for valuable objects.
